Caroline’s Jersey Hospice Care Trek Himalayas page Sponsorship Page

After a tough few years for my family losing my Dad, my Auntie Lynne and Keith, I’ve decided to step outside my comfort zone and signed up for the Jersey Hospice Care Trek Himalayas Challenge in Nepal in October this year. I will be trekking in the Himalayan Annapurna range for six days for up to eight hours a day going to a height of 2800m over suspension bridges, past mountain villages and rice terraces and camping at night.

Jersey Hospice Care is a charity that focuses on living, not dying – helping people to live life to the full. They provide a range of services to patients and their families such as complementary therapies, physiotherapy gym, Lymphoedema treatments and Emotional Support Service, along with palliative care irrespective of cause. They also offer a Community Bereavement Service.

Jersey Hospice Care is a registered charity and makes no charge to patients but the cost of running their services is approximately £16,200 per day!!

If I can raise my fundraising target to go towards these costs, simply it will help someone somehow.

I would therefore be grateful if you could sponsor me to raise funds for this amazing cause.

Thank you your support is really appreciated.
