European Cycle #2! Sponsorship Page
We are off … AGAIN!
The father-daughter dream team are off gallivanting across Europe on their bikes again. Two years down the line we have decided it is about time to do it all over again!
The plan is to start in Helsinki and cycle South-West towards Amsterdam, crossing eight countries in approx. six weeks. This is a VERY loose plan and if we are honest, the first flight and hotel is all we actually have booked. But follow us on our blog: https://van-der-plonker.travel.blog/ to keep up to date as to where we are!
Why Jersey Hospice Care?
Dad’s mother (my Gran) sadly passed away last July. Throughout the last five years of her life she valued every member from Jersey Hospice Care. She attended regular weekly day hospice, was supported throughout the difficult times and most importantly, Jersey Hospice Care were there not only for her, but for my Papa as well. The work they do to ensure every individual enjoys their life to the full, until the end was certainly seen for my gran and I feel this is the least we can do to support them and allow them to continue to support patients such as my Gran.
We raised a whopping £5,000 for Jersey Hospice Care on our last trip, which was over and above anything we ever imagined!
We hope you help us in fundraising as much as possible for this wonderful charity.
