Neil & Naomi – Ride London Sponsorship Page

I asked Naomi and she said YES…

…to take part in the Prudential RideLondon 2019!

It’s not a short cycle – 100 miles!! The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive, starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then goes through the capital and onto Surrey’s country roads and the Surrey Hills before a finish on The Mall in central London.

Nearly 30,000 amateur cyclists take part before the pros hit the roads in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic, which is a UCI WorldTour event. This largely follows the same route as the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive with multiple circuits in and around Dorking.

I rode in 2014, which was cut short due to Hurricane Bertha, so I’m back again for a second attempt and to finally tackle Box Hill! Naomi on the other hand has only taken up cycling in the last 18 months so this will be an awesome feat!

There’ll be plenty of training done to ensure that we smash it, riding out with the Jersey Rouleurs being part of it!

I’m also taking part in the Milan-San Remo Sportive (294 km in one day), and Le Bernard Hinault Sportive in France

She’s supporting me on the Milan-San Remo Sportive and hopefully picking up some tips to tackle Le Bernard Hinault Sportive in France (125 km)

We’ve both decided to take part in aid of Jersey Hospice Care, which is a great cause and we’ve targeted ourselves with jointly raising £750. So dig deep into those pockets/wallets/purses/money jars/down the back of the sofa (delete as applicable) and throw a few pennies our way!

Thanks in advance!
